Review by hotel critic
Hotel Oratio, located near the Maubert-Mutualité and Cardinal Lemoine metro stops in the vibrant 5th arrondissement, opens its doors to a special side of Paris reminiscent of a small village. Every detail, from the carefully selected decor to the warm color palette, envelops you in a Wes Anderson-esque softness, promising a welcoming comfort at any time of the day. The blend of authenticity and modernity in the room design truly impressed me, reflecting the charm and character of this historic part of Paris. The buffet breakfast, made of fresh produce and served daily, offered a delightful selection of pastries, cheeses, and hot dishes. The staff, led by the attentive Jude at the front desk and the exceptional Agnes in the breakfast room, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Their passion for Paris shone through in their service, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. The convenient location allowed us to explore iconic landmarks like Notre Dame and the Pantheon on foot, immersing us in the enchanting ambiance of the Latin Quarter.Hotel Oratio proved to be a haven of peace in the bustling city, perfectly balancing privacy and conviviality for guests. Whether traveling with friends or family, this boutique hotel offers a unique blend of warmth, elegance, and tranquility that guarantees a memorable stay in the heart of Paris.
